Egg hunt at the farm and a first…

As some of you know Devin is a United States Marine (OOHRAH!). When he was in boot camp we had just two nephews so when he graduated they each got a USMC sweatshirt. My sister-in-law Kim held onto hers and when I had Brendan she passed it on to him. The sweatshirt is still to big for him but I still put it on him the other day. He looked so cute with his fresh hair cut and the sweatshirt.

Saturday morning we didn’t have anything planned but I found out that Clark’s ellioak farm was having easter egg hunts every half hour so we headed on up for some fun. The weather forecast was iffy so we put Brendan in his fave rainboots ever and hoped the rain would hold off. It poured on our way up there but the sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. Brendan loved the enchanted forest, all the animals, the egg hunt where he won a pony ride , feeding the goats and we ended with a ride on the cow train. We had a lot of fun, left covered in mud from head to toe but got to enjoy the ride home with the top back on the Jeep. πŸ™‚

practicing driving the boat πŸ™‚

patiently waiting for the egg hunt to begin

everytime he found an egg he would say "Eggy" hahah

his first horse ride .... he absolutely loved it!

yay! And his horses name was... ::drumroll:: Katie πŸ™‚

while waiting for the cow train he practiced milking a cow

Devin got to go along for the ride πŸ™‚

It was so nice that before we left the farm Devin put the top back on the Jeep.Β  This was Brendan’s first time in the Jeep with the top back and he loved it!Β  He also fell asleep on theΒ  way home ..he must have had a good time πŸ™‚
