Saturday morning Devin, Brendan and I headed Northbound on I-95 to Philly for the first time in awhile. The weather people were calling for rain all day but we were all hoping and praying the sun would make an appearance, luckily it did for the majority of the day. We got into Philly with some time to spare, get ready and head on up to my cousin Jenn and her husband Joe’s new house for the crabfest they were hosting. This was also our families first time seeing their new home, which is absolutely lovely 🙂 congrats Jenn and Joe! Brendan was passed around between his favorite aunts, great aunts, uncles, Grammy and Poppy all afternoon and into the early evening. There was family, friends, food, swimming, laughter, pictures, more food, more laughter, smiles …lots of smiles and just simply a great time with a great family. Really a perfect day!
Today Stephen and his girlfriend Savannah boarded the plane to Seattle. We wish them luck on their new journey and much success. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to come visit.
A couple extra cool things from the weekend:
Two weeks ago Stephen had his orientation at Cornell so I got a new sweatshirt yay! I love college sweatshirts. 🙂
Brendan is now the proud new owner of his first ever Thomas the train Christmas trains thanks to Mamie and Pop. He also got a brand new tubby toy thanks to Grammy and Poppy.
And my mom and dad got us this awesome waterproof video camera for when we do swim lessons with Brendan.
