Today we had our 2nd D.C. area preemie GTG (get together) at the Montgomery County Fair in Gaithersburg Maryland. We got there first thing when they opened, 10 a.m., no dads just us moms and our boys. It was a lot of fun and we saw so many animals, a lot more then the National Zoo haha. If you are in the area I highly recommend you go, there was so much to do and see and great pictures to take. We started off checking out the sheep, then the cows, we saw a calf – she was born last night at 5 p.m so not even a full day old and so cute!, horses, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, goats, baby ducks, miniature horses and a bull. Poor Laura, Cameron and Evan got stuck in accident traffic on the beltway so thy missed the first half of our outting but they did get there in time for the pig race, we hit up the chilly mall – which had some indoor vendors where we got some candy and fudge for Devin made by the agricultural center. After that Laura offered to take pictures if I wanted to put Brendan on the pony ride, so I did, and he LOVED it…he truly is a cowboy 🙂 After the pony ride he was getting restless, and so was I so we packed it up and headed on home. It was so much fun and we cannot wait to hang out again next month.
